Multi-Operational Modes for Maximum Utilization
WASP® has multiple operational modes that include automatic planting and streaking, automatic broth subculturing plus a streak-only mode. The versatility of the modes ensures the maximum utility of the instrument by any lab of any size:
- Full Process Mode – instrument manages the specimens and the entire process of sampling, planting, streaking and reclosing
- Subculture Mode – using instrument-ready selective or enrichment broths, WASP® automatically samples, plants and streaks
- Streak Only Mode – instrument streaks plates after the operator has manually planted a specimen or broth culture onto plates.
